Town garden for a new beginning

A couple retiring to the town after a busy life in the countryside needed their new garden to be a place to entertain and relax amidst nature.

A large terrace was constructed with plenty of space to entertain surrounded by a carefully selected mix of grasses, shrubs for all year round structure and movement.  Some more floriferous plants were avoided due to the owners allergy to bee stings.   In the evening lighting and a fire table add warmth and atmosphere.  A pergola and three beautiful crab apple trees bring height to the space.  The shed, greenhouse and vegetable plot are screened from view by a stunning screen by Screen with Envy.

We created a colourful tree and shrub border along the boundary, with trees strategically placed to maximise the privacy from the surrounding houses.

The clients spent hours working on the garden and have created an exciting and vibrant personal space.
