It’s worth a trip to Trebetherick near Rock to see this strikingly stylish retro hotel with a garden that enhances the atmosphere. Open to the prevailing winds it was still looking great in October.
The hotel and it’s relaxed pool-side restaurant are floating on a sea of Phormiums and grasses.
The planting works with the coastal location rather than fighting it.
With views across to Stepper Point it’s a wonderful location. A cream tea in the bar rounded the day off nicely.
