The owners who built this luxury holiday property were keen to involve a garden designer right at the start of the project. This meant decisions could be made that benefited both the design of the house garden.

The garden needed to serve as an outdoor room to be enjoyed all year round. The bedrooms on the ground floor also needed a degree of privacy from the garden, as well as a beautiful view to enjoy.

We created a series of rectilinear beds that created zones within the garden - for dining, relaxing, showering and using the jacuzzi. On the north facing walls we created a lush tropical feel to the planting, whilst on those with a sunny aspect we employed fragrant Mediterranean planting with thymes, lavender and olive trees.

At the front of the house parking was maximised with a resin bonded driveway, which was soften with planting on all sides. Pines and evergreen architectural shrubs ensure that there is a welcoming arrival space all year round.
